Your Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Oversee all restaurant activities, providing support, guidance, and feedback to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team. Instill a commitment to doing things right in every aspect of operations.
• Nightlife Curator: Bring your expertise in late-night operations to the forefront, overseeing events, coordinating live music, and managing the vibrant nightlife atmosphere. Ensure seamless execution and an unforgettable experience for our guests.
• Performance Management: Collaborate closely with team members to elevate the restaurant’s performance, focusing on outstanding food quality and exceptional customer service.
• Efficiency Steward: Take charge of financial responsibilities, ensuring orders, contracts, and wastage costs are well-managed. Handle supply orders, manage systems, and maintain optimal inventory levels to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintenance Coordination: Organize and schedule regular maintenance tasks, overseeing equipment repair and upkeep as needed to maintain a well-functioning establishment.
• Budget Management: Navigate the financial landscape by overseeing the overall labor cost budget. Make strategic decisions on scheduling, training, and maintenance tasks in collaboration with managers and supervisors.
• Training Facilitation: Conduct informative training sessions on product and policy changes for front-of-house staff. Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to ensure the kitchen team is well-trained on changes in food production, product specs, and quality control.
• Performance Evaluation: Lead the process of providing performance evaluations for front-of-house staff and work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure comprehensive evaluations for back-of-house.

• A Seasoned Leader. With 5-10 years of proven General Manager experience in a fast-paced full-service restaurant environment, you’re ready to take on the challenge of our newest venture.
• Late Night Specialist. Your experience in late-night operations sets you apart, and you’re ready to bring your expertise to the heart of Calgary’s nightlife.
• Football Enthusiast. While familiarity with football is a bonus, your understanding of its unique charm in creating a lively pub atmosphere adds an extra layer of appeal to your candidacy.

Salary: $100,000.00 per year

Experience:
• restaurant general manager: 5 years (required)
• late-night restaurant operation: 1 year (preferred)
