Job Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare and treatment to patients. Your responsibilities will include health promotions, disease prevention, identification and management of health problems, and effective communication with patients’ primary care providers. You will work within the scope of your licensure and, if applicable, under the supervision of a physician.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
• Graduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master’s degree preferred. Certification from an approved organization in accordance with the Maine State Board of Nursing. Current Maine State Licensure.
OR
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current Maine State Licensure.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
